Discover a range of smooth jazz grooves in this book and CD set, featuring a variety of contemporary rhythm section styles including Jazz, R&B, Rock, Gospel, Hip-Hop, and Latin.

On each of the twenty tracks, the groove is seperated into three melodic ideas. Each melodic idea (example or riff) is played first, by the guitar with the groove, followed by just the rhythm section groove, without guitar. The first example is usually the easiest, the second slightly harder and the third the most difficult. All of the music features Andrew Gordon on keyboards and guitar.
