Band In A Box was first released by PG music back in 1990, and today it is still our most popular music software program. At it's most basic level it is surprisingly simple to use: simply type in the chords (Cmaj7; F- etc), choose a style and Band In The Box generates a very authentic sounding backing track for you to jam along to. Now that Band In A Box incorporates real drums and hundreds of real instrument tracks it really does sound more and more like a real band! And once you've made your backing track you can add melody tracks or trade fours with real instruments in the style of various famous artists.
