There’s an all-star line-up for the Brighton-based charity event in support of the Labour party ahead of the upcoming General Election

A special benefit concert, under the banner Change Is Now – Jazz For Labour, will held in support of "music, hope and happiness", at music venue The Brunswick, 1 Holland Road, Brighton, BN3 1JF on Thursday 27 June at 7.30pm.

Featuring the cream of UK jazz singers, Claire Martin, Liane Carroll and Ian Shaw plus sax supremo Tony Kofi, with an all-star house band of Terry Seabrook, Nigel Thomas, Jon Newey, Tony Sheppard and Luke Rattenbury plus special guests, this promises to be an unmissable evening with all proceeds going to Brighton & Hove Labour party.

Jazz for Labour supports all who believe in a progressive, humanitarian and green United Kingdom which values its world standing in arts and culture. Jazz For Labour was founded by Jon Newey, John Cumming (Serious Productions) and Labour MP Bob Blizzard in 2015 with the big Jazz For Labour Concert at London's Barbican concert hall. Subsequently Jon Newey and Terry Seabrook have put on Jazz For Labour and Jazz For Europe concerts in Brighton in 2017 and 2019.
