NYC's Smoke Jazz Club kickstarts its 25th anniversary festivities with a special concert series with George Coleman shows

Rated the No.1 jazz club in New York City, Smoke Jazz Club celebrates its 25th anniversary celebrations with a series of gigs featuring saxophonist George Coleman and special guests (10-14 April): NEA Jazz Master George Coleman opened the doors to Smoke back in April 1999
Rated the premier jazz club in New York City, Smoke Jazz Club (located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side at the junction of Broadway and 106th Street, aka Duke Ellington Boulevard) has announced the first of many 25th anniversary celebrations, starting with the legendary George Coleman and special guests (10-14 April). NEA Jazz Master Coleman opened the doors to Smoke back in April 1999, then christened its newly-renovated space post-pandemic in July 2022. Joining Coleman are several special guests such as Joe Farnsworth who also inaugurated the Smoke stage 25 years ago.
Joining Coleman on tenor saxophone are: John Webber – bass; Emmet Cohen and Michael Weiss – piano; Joe Farnsworth and Carl Allen – drums; and Peter Bernstein – guitar.
