Gwyneth Herbert's 2004 major label debut, Bittersweet and Blue, had her pegged as a standards singer, but her career since has traversed a myriad of multi-dimensional projects across music, theatre and the written word.

Her latest album and performance piece, Letters I Haven't Written, explores the lost art of letter writing, which, as Herbert tells Peter Quinn, envisions a soundworld where the personal anecdotes of audience members fuse with jazz improvisation
