British saxophonist Emma Rawicz signs to ACT Music for new album Chroma

The fast rising saxophonist and composer will release her second album on the major German jazz label
The 21-year-old rising-star saxophonist Emma Rawicz – who is still studying on the Royal Academy of Music’s Jazz Course - has been making waves since her self-released debut Incantation and a series of sold-out headline shows at London’s Jazz Café and Ronnie Scott’s jazz clubs.
Despite her young age, Rawicz has already achieved an enormous amount of acclaim winning a Parliamentary Jazz Award, being nominated for a Jazz FM Award and as a finalist at the 2022 BBC Young Jazz Musician Competition.
Live performances have included all the major British jazz festivals and clubs, as well as several international festivals. Rawicz’s ACT debut CHROMA feature her quintet of top UK players including pianist Ivo Neame, bassist Conor Chaplin, guitarist Ant Law and drummer Asaf Sirkis with guest vocals from Immy Churchill will be released on 25 August.
