Taking over a sizeable chunk of leafy Brockwell Park, headliners for this year’s Cross the Tracks include soul diva Erykah Badu and trip-hop legends Aim (celebrating 20 years since the release of their influential debut album, Cold Water Music). There are exciting jazz names across the bill with appearances from the likes of prog-fusion stars BADBADNOTGOOD, fast rising Scottish jazz-groove collective cort.alto, superb Ezra Collective trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi leading his own fusion-groove band and thrilling drum’n’bass inspired drummer Mackwood are among a huge roster of rising names on the line-up.

The festival also hosts talks, panels and workshops by charity partners, a creative’s market, over 50 international food and drink traders and a craft brewery fair. Further names appearing include En Vogue, Madlib (DJ set), The Cavemen, Venna, Mansur Brown, Gilles Peterson (DJ set), Dennis Bovell, Channel One, Sofia Grant, SuperJazzClub, Maya Delilah among many others.
