Talented drummer leads his acclaimed trio play in a pre-recorded gig that was filmed for the EFG London Jazz Festival
Comprised of fiery tenorist George Crowley, in-demand Empirical bassist Tom Farmer and fast-rising drummer Sam Jesson, Magpie Trio’s virtual gig sees them begin a four-month winter residency playing a set of music inspired by the arrangements of the great Ahmad Jamal as well as tunes from their recently released album Magpie Trio: Live - read the Jazzwise review here.
The gig was pre-recorded during the EFG London Jazz Festival at Audio Gold in their beautiful HiFi shop.
