Fergus McCreadie Trio take Turas on tour

The fast rising Scottish pianist and his talented trio head out for a set UK-wide dates
Glasgow-based Parliamentary Jazz Award-winning pianist Fergus McCreadie takes his trio on the road during January, February and March, with dates in England, Wales and Scotland including the group’s first appearances at the 606 Club in London and at Turner Sims Concert Hall in Southampton.
McCreadie, whose debut album, Turas, won ‘Album of the Year’ at the Parliamentary and Scottish Jazz Awards 2019, was shortlisted for the cross-genre Scottish Album of the Year Award 2019. The pianist plans to release the follow-up later this year.
The trio also features Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year 2017, David Bowden on bass and a Jazzwise ‘One to Watch’ 2018, Stephen Henderson on drums, play the following dates: Crookes Social Club, Sheffield (31 Jan), Turner Sims, Southampton (8 Feb), Peggy’s Skylight, Nottingham (20 Feb ), Melville Centre, Abergavenny (23 Feb), St Giles Church, Elgin (29 Feb), 606 Club, London (4 Mar) and the Cinnamon Club, Altrincham (5 Mar).
