Here’s another highly interactive live session curated and presented by Fizzle and TDE Promotions with violinist Sarah Farmer and electronics/soundscape artist Annie Mahtani. Promoter Tony Dudley-Evans introduces this latest film:

“This video features two players on the Birmingham improv scene: violinist Sarah Farmer and Annie Mahtani on laptop. Annie had prepared a number of soundscapes for the session taken from recordings while on a visit to The Azores. She had shared these with Sarah before the recording and Sarah had worked out a broad strategy of how to respond to them.  Then in the studio - the excellent Sansom Studios - they improvised an engaging 40-minute set full of beauty.  They also answer questions about their approach and their careers.”
