Herbie Hancock Tour Dates Announced

While it has already been announced that Herbie Hancock has been scheduled for two concerts at November’s London Jazz Festival details of further tour dates have now been confirmed scheduled around the time of his London appearances. The band he brings will also include the surprise appearance of trumpeter Terence Blanchard, bassist James Genus, guitarist Lionel Loueke, harmonica player Gregoire Maret and drummer Kendrick Scott.
It’s been quite a year for Herbie, winning album of the year at the Grammys for River: The Joni Letters, a very rare win for a jazz album in this category. The tour dates are: Sage Gateshead (14 Nov), Royal Festival Hall, London (15 Nov), Bridgewater Hall, Manchester (16 Nov), Barbican, London (19 Nov) and Symphony Hall, Birmingham (20 Nov).
