A special exhibition focussing on the newly published book will showcase the key albums and musicians from Jazzwise’s The 100 Jazz Albums That Shook the World

The Jazz Centre UK is mounting a special exhibition of images and album covers from the recently published Jazzwise book, The 100 Jazz Albums That Shook the World, that will run from Saturday 2 April until late Summer at the centre's location at The Beecroft Gallery, Southend-on-Sea.

A special launch event will take place on 2 April from 11am and the book's editor, Jon Newey will take part in a question and answer session with well-known jazz DJ and presenter, Chris Philips accompanied by album tracks from the book. This will be followed by a live performance with acclaimed percussionist Snowboy, who will be appearing with the Graeme Culham Band in an Afro-Cuban meets bebop live set from 2-4pm.

The following day, Sunday 3 April, the exhibition will also include a special Blues Cinema Film Show followed by a live blues performance from A No Good Woman & the Kingsnakes.
