John Surman and Jazz Jamaica Booked For Coventry

Reeds player John Surman (pictured) and organist Howard Moody appear at the Coventry Jazz Festival which has just announced its line-up. The Coventry Cathedral afternoon concert on Saturday 24 May coincides with the release of new ECM album Rain On The Window and marks their return to Coventry for the first time in five years. The Coventry jazz festival now in its tenth year runs from 22-26 May.


Other artists announced so far are Jazz Jamaica at the Belgrade Theatre on 24 May and the BBC Big Band plus Liane Carroll and Alan Barnes at the Belgrade the day before,
