Quentin Collins revs up for Road Warrior

Trumpeter Quentin Collins returns with a new album, Road Warrior, released on Ubuntu Music on 13 September, supporting the release with an extensive series of live dates around the UK.

The London-based trumpeter, known for his longstanding work with bassist Kyle Eastwood, convened a strong British and American band for the album’s postbop originals, with NYC pianist Dan Nimmer, bassist Joe Sanders and drummer Willie Jones III, alongside saxophonists Leo Richardson, Meilana Gillard and a guest spot from Jean Toussaint.
