The two acts will be live streaming for free (but the label welcomes donations for the artists).

Master Oogway are four young musicians (sax player Lauritz Lyster Skeidsvoll, guitarist/composer Håvard Nordberg Funderud, Karl Erik E. Horndalsveen on bass and Martin Mellem on drums ) aged between 23 and 26. They met at the Norwegian Academy of Music in 2015. The recently-released Earth And Other Worlds is the quartet´s second album and they will be appearing at 8pm (GMT).

The highly-rated I Like To Sleep, comprising Øvind Leite (drums), Nicolas Leitrø (baritone guitar) and Amund Storløkken Åse (vibes) are named for a Thelonius Monk quote. Their album Daymare is released next week (24 April) and they will be performing at 9pm (GMT).

The label has also told Jazzwise that its webstore is operating as normal, although it warns that because of the Coronavirus lockdown, international parcels make take longer than usual to reach their destination.

Both sets can be viewed on Rune Grammofon’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/runegrammofon/ and for albums visit www.runegrammofon.com
