Antonio Hart - Alto Saxophone

Antonio Hart, jazz alto saxophonist, composer and educator, attended the Baltimore School for the Arts, Berklee College of Music, and has a master's degree from Queens College, City University of New York.

His initial training was classical, but he switched to jazz in college. At Berklee he met and later gained much recognition for his work with trumpet player Roy Hargrove. Antonio is currently Professor at The Aaron Copeland School of Music and also fits in travelling on the road with The Dave Holland Big Band and the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band.

2008 marks his inaugural year on the faculty of the Jazzwise Summer School.
