Countdown To Coventry Jazz Festival

There is less than a week to go until the first gigs take place at the Coventry Jazz Festival which begins next Thursday.

One of the leading jazz festivals in the country the five-day event continues until Bank Holiday Monday. Highlights include Clark Tracey’s New Sextet at the Biggin Hall (Thursday 21 May), Jacqui Dankworth at the Belgrade Theatre’s B2 space (Friday 22 May), Portico Quartet at Taylor John’s House (22 May), Theo Travis and Robert Fripp at Coventry Cathedral (Saturday 23 May), Empirical at Taylor John’s House (23 May), Neil Cowley Trio, Belgrade B2 (Sunday 24 May), Maceo Parker at the Belgrade (24 May) and Michael Roach & Johnny Mars plus Abie Budgen (Monday 25 May).
