Jazz breaking news: Courtney Pine Gets Back On The Road

The hard touring Courtney Pine is back on the road next month for the latest leg of his tour to support his Transition in Tradition album, Pine’s tribute to Sidney Bechet.

With support from Cuban violinist Omar Puente whose debut album was released last year and who featured on the cover of Jazzwise back in September Courtney’s tour dates include:

Assembly Theatre, Leamington Spa (4 Feb), Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal (5 Feb), Theatre Royal, Winchester (6 Feb), Opera House, Buxton (16 Feb), Corn Exchange, Brighton (18 Feb), Alban Arena, St Albans (19 Feb), Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea (20 Feb), Wyeside Arts Centre, Powys (21 Feb), The Globe, Cardiff (22 Feb), Guild Hall, Gloucester (25 Feb), Chapel Arts Centre, Bath (26 Feb), Plough Arts Centre, Great Torrington (27 Feb), Town Hall, Birmingham (3 March), Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells (5 March), Union Chapel, London (6 March), Pacific Arts, The Wirral (11 March), Picture Dome, Holmfirth (12 March) and Assembly Rooms, Ludlow (13 March). – Stephen Graham
