Jazz breaking news: Jack Dejohnette Swinging Hard At 70 On UK Tour

Legendary jazz drummer Jack DeJohnette (pictured left), hits the UK in November for a series of live dates around his much-anticipated appearance at this year’s London Jazz Festival in celebration of his 70th birthday (that was actually on 9 August), with a new band featuring revered multi-reedist Don Byron, guitarist Marvin Sewell, keyboardist George Colligan and bassist Jerome Harris, all of whom will be performing original material from his latest solo album Sound Travels.
