Jazz breaking news: Love Supreme Jazz Festival returns in 2014
Thursday, November 14, 2013
The Love Supreme Jazz Festival is set to return next year between 4-6 July 2014 after the huge success of its inaugural run during the summer, which was blessed with glorious weather and attracted over 15,000 music fans who listened to a killer line up of jazz, soul, funk blues and beyond.
Next year’s event will once again be held at Glynde Place, in the stunning surroundings of the Sussex downs with early-bird tickets available for a limited time from today, Thursday 14 November.
Festival director Ciro Romano commented on the second run of this pioneering event: “We are delighted to confirm that the Love Supreme Festival will return next year. The response from the public and media last year was overwhelming and I feel that we are creating something that's been missing and for which there appears to be a genuine demand.”
The festival, which Jazzwise called "the most ambitious high profile UK jazz event in recent history," has already been labelled the Glastonbury of jazz in the national media and is sure to attract a number of must see names and rising stars as well as jazz dance DJs and unexpected surprises.
