Jazz breaking news: New music director appointed for the new NYJO Jazz Ensemble

Trumpeter and educator Gemma Buckenham (pictured left) has been appointed as the inaugural music director of the NYJO Jazz Ensemble, part of the new NYJO Academy, which heads up all of the educational activities of the Orchestra for younger musicians.
