Jazz breaking news: Ronnie Scott’s Covers Up

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

A giant 12 square metre photographic hoarding depicting one of Val Wilmer’s iconic Ronnie Scott images is currently covering the entire front façade of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club on Frith Street in London’s Soho while the building is undergoing redecoration.

The club remains fully-open while the external refurbishment work is carried out. Naturally it is accompanied by one of Ronnie’s wry one-liners; “I love this place, it’s just like home, filthy and full of strangers.”  Go take a look – it's a real eyeful.
