Jazz breaking news: Tim Garland, Rhythmica and Claire Martin Sextet for Scarborough Jazz Festival

The Quentin Collins/Brandon Allen Quartet, Darius Brubeck Quartet, Martin Taylor & Alan Barnes, and The Give A Little Love Jazz Orchestra: A Horace Silver Tribute are some of the names heading to the Scarborough Jazz Festival for the 10th running of the festival this year.

/media/69678/rhythmica.jpgThe three-day festival – held from 28-30 September in the Grand Hall of The Spa in the Yorkshire seaside town – will also feature Matt Wates Sextet, Abram Wilson Quartet, NYJO, Tim Garland Quartet, Claire Martin Sextet, Rhythmica, Jenny Malloy Trio: Bach ReLoaded, Just East, Sector7 featuring Sarah Ellen Hughes, and Alan Barnes with Ken Mathieson’s Classic Orchestra playing The Music of Benny Carter. – Stephen Graham
