Jazz breaking news: Win Pentangle Tickets For Royal Festival Hall

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

British folk-jazz legends Pentangle (pictured) return to the Royal Festival Hall in London on 1 August, a venue forever associated with the band.

In 1968 they recorded the live disc from their seminal double album Sweet Child at the RFH, and three years ago celebrated the 40th anniversary with a special concert in the same venue.

The original line-up of Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson and Terry Cox perform together once again, as they continue to inspire and influence both life-long fans and an ever-increasing contingent of new admirers.

We have two pairs of tickets for this special concert. To enter simply answer this question: Name the bass player in Pentangle. Was it

a/ Dave Green

b/ Roy Babbington

or c/ Danny Thompson
