Jazz breaking news: Win Tickets for Ronnie Scott’s Brit Jazz Fest

This August sees the third annual Brit Jazz Fest take place at Ronnie Scott’s running 31 July until 14 August, with Jazzwise Magazine as official media partner, to celebrate this hugely popular and diverse musical showcase Ronnie Scott’s and Jazzwise are offering three pairs of tickets for three of the shows taking place in the first week.

Packed with up and coming stars and highly acclaimed veterans selected from Britain’s staggeringly rich home grown jazz scene, highlights of the festival include appearances by the likes of Michael Garrick, Chris Barber Big Band and a fulsome tribute to the late great Humphrey Lyttelton, vocal stars Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll and Natalie Williams, appearances by sax greats Tommy Smith and Soweto Kinch, and several mighty big bands including young upstarts Bits & Pieces and the maverick brilliance of Matthew Herbert.

The second set of three pairs of tickets are now up for grabs for the following shows:

7th August – The Jazzverse Jukebox with Soweto Kinch

11th August – Gwilym Simcock Trio + Stephano D'Silva performing the music of Amancio D'Silva

10th August – David Redfern Lecture (NB - this is an exclusive members only event that the competition winner will be able to attend).
