Jazz Yorkshire To Run Mentoring Scheme

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Arts Council England-funded development agency Jazz Yorkshire has put out a call for recently graduated musicians from across the UK to apply for the new Jazz Yorkshire Futures Scheme.

It aims to provide two years’ mentoring and career development working from a Yorkshire/Humber base. Performance, workshop and rehearsal aspects are part of the mentoring process. Those selected will, as part of the initiative, tour around the Jazz Yorkshire promoter network venues, followed in the second year by a national tour.

To apply go to www.jazzyorkshire.org/futures and complete the form. The closing date is 30 June.
