Parliamentary Jazz Awards Nominations Announced

Jazzwise has been nominated in three categories for the 2009 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, sponsored by music licensing company PPL.

The magazine is nominated for Jazz Publication, twice in the Jazz Journalist category for Jazzwise writers Mike Flynn and Kevin Le Gendre, and for reviewer Alyn Shipton in the Broadcaster section. The awards are organised by the All Party Parliamentary Jazz Appreciation Group and take place on 20 May at the Terrace Pavilion of the House of Commons.
