Prize winning singer Georgia Mancio

UK-based singer Georgia Mancio has won first prize in the Brussels Young Jazz Singer's Competition.

The final took place at The Music Village club in Brussels, with a panel of judges that included singers David Linx and Judy Niemack. Georgia won ahead of Portuguese singer Sofia Ribeiro and Australian Sophie Brous. Each finalist received a cash prize and will perform at The Music Village during the 2006-7 season.
