Zed-U Gear Up For Concrete Session with Jason Yarde

Alto saxophonist and producer Jason Yarde is special guest of new trio-about-town Zed-U next week on 21 January at the Concrete Bar, next to the Hayward Gallery on the South Bank.
Zed-U – reeds man Shabaka Hutchings, bassist Neil Charles and drummer Tom Skinner – are preparing to release their debut album later this year and are also shortly to begin a residence at the Rich Mix in Bethnal Green on Sunday afternoons.
The monthly Trouble Tune session at the Concrete continues next month on 18 February with a special guest to announced. Entrance is free and the music begins at 6pm.
