Virtuoso guitarist John Etheridge has long been regarded as a lynchpin between the disparate but nevertheless related strands of UK and European jazz

leading both his superlative Stephane Grappelli inspired group Sweet Chorus or his incomparable Zappatistas  - one of the finest Frank Zappa tribute bands ever, not forgetting his sterling work as part of Soft Machine Legacy and as violinist Nigel Kennedy’s perfect acoustic foil. Yet he’s equally at home in a trio setting - stretching out and letting rip with his regular partners Jim Watson on organ and John Marshall on drums.
