Tim Garland Quintet profile
Tuesday, October 10, 2006
Tim Garland’s sublime sax playing has always embodied a very English sophistication,
combining a sweet and sure tone and rapier like musical instincts, it’s no surprise he’s one of the UK’s most feted exports. As versatile as he is talented he joins the BBC Concert Orchestra to celebrate the music of Millaud, Duke Ellington and Banks, he will also be joined by trumpet star Gerard Presencer to play Fantasy on Crystal Silence for Orchestra.
