Trio AAB discard much of the niceties of the traditional trio line-up and prefer a much more direct assault on the senses.
With song titles like ‘Pay Some Fucking Attention’ ex-Cambridge medical student identical twins Tom and Phil Bancroft, drums and saxophones respectively and guitarist Kevin MacKenzie regurgitate the kind of musical pluralism that most of are subjected to on a daily basis; be it punk, folk, Ornette Coleman shaded nuttiness or trippy drum and bass this band is virtuosic both with its playing and its sense of humour; simply to be enjoyed.
