Singer Viktoria Tolstoy was the first Swedish jazz artist to record for Blue Note,  1997 album ‘The White Russian’,

produced by EST pianist Esbjörn Svensson who also backed her with his trio. This musical relationship continues today as she plays pieces by Svensson from her ACT label debut ‘Shining On You’, with her own dynamic trio of pianist Jacob Kartzon, bassist Mattias Svensson and drummer Peter Danemo.
