Essential mainstream jazz from 1953-56, packaging four of the original LPs across a 2CD set. It's all that most fans might want, though the Lonehill Complete Master Takes 3CD set has the brilliant meandering 29-minute ‘Christopher Columbus’ that's missing here. Completists will want the 6CD Mosaic box (with all the outtakes), but these discs are a great starting point.
