These have quite possibly become the most recycled tracks in contemporary jazz. It would seem that every new public domain label clones a previously compiled release to where they all seem to be redirected to my lair. There are only so many times anyone can reassess these original Pacific Jazz recordings and I must have placed these under the microscope on at least three maybe four times. On the last occasion I commented that these tracks had long been repackaged well beyond the point of total exhaustion. And that's how I felt when this turned up, yet again.
