The 31-year-old pianist-composer Meder draws on a broad range of influences from classical, ragtime, modernism from Monk to Shearing through to Latin/Spanish folk styles for a project (with guest contribution from saxophonist Miguel Zenon) inspired by the anti-fascist 20th Century Spanish philosopher Miguel De Unamuno.
