A Paris-based duo, the young cellist Ceccaldi, who has partnered the idiosyncratic vocalist Leila Martial, meets avant-garde guitarist David Chevalier. Zèbres displays less improvisational aspects than their previous team-up, but the mix of strings and woozy, Derek Bailey-ish guitar is probing and charmingly child-like.
