Not as hyper-nuanced as Abrahams' work with The Necks, but this duo which sees him take to a Steinway Grand L, alongside Rose on various strings, still reveals an extraordinarily close chemistry. Exploratory, energetic, contrapuntal art music, though minimalist sensibilities are still all-pervasive.
