Unlike the Monk reviewed above, this is a slightly eccentric selection, so unless you're after just a few representative tracks, then the Complete Aladdin set (recently reviewed) on Phoenix or the more comprehensive Properbox offer better balanced selections of the great saxophonist's 1940s work.
