As an unusual alternative to jazz interpretation of classical works, Peter Jensen, a frequent composer-arranger for the Danish DR Big Band, uses sampled fragments of the works of Danish composer Carl Nielson as a setting for some discerning jazz/classical arrangements, and it makes for a beguilingly atmospheric whole.
