It was a slightly bonkers idea, in 1957, to team Tony Bennett with various drummers from Jo Jones to Art Blakey, plus massed trombones or flutes, but it now seems a rather charming period piece, specially the big splash of multiple percussionists on ‘Let There Be Love’.
