Formed originally in 2008 by the LOOP Collective trumpeter/electronic artist/producer Alex Bonney and the versatile drummer Tim Giles, Leverton Fox is a geeky, improvising avant-electronica trio based in London. The third member is Isambard Khroustaliov whose band Icarus also record on the Not Applicable label. Velcro Bird follows on from The Human Arm CD in 2012 and is a throbbing organism of electronic bass drones, glitch analogue and doomy industrial sounds. Giles' fractured atmospheric grooves and percussion are the only acoustic interference aside from brief interjections from Bonney's cornet. London's answer to the more abstract areas of the vibrant Norwegian leftfield electronica scene.
