In her mid-twenties, Connelly was in the Sinatra circle – briefly his girlfriend – which opened doors for her to record with the likes of Marty Paich and Russ Garcia (both featured here). But despite an attractive voice and great charts, she never really inhabits a song, but skates elegantly over the surface.
