Rage as we will about Brexit, you can't deny the efficacy of the ‘Norwegian model’ when it comes to creating a context for fiery minded, independently spirited jazz, rock and free bands. The splendidly hirsuite Magnus Ryan (‘Snah’ to his Nordic muckers) seems to have been around forever with Motorpsycho, hammering out his dark mayhem.
