Leading figures from every sector of Europe’s jazz scene will gather in Belgium to discuss ways to collaborate and promote jazz across the Continent

The stunning historic city of Ghent in Belgium is the location for this year’s European Jazz Conference. Every year the European Jazz Network (EJN), a body comprising promoters, programmers, agents and artists from all over the continent and beyond, organizes the gathering in order to discuss any issues relevant to the cause of the music. Titled Tomorrow Comes Today the 2024 edition promises to be exciting.

Taking place between 12-15 September, the event has 422 delegates from 39 countries. EJN has partnered with VI.BE, Ha Concerts and Jazz Lab to produce the conference that will have a special focus on young musicians, the future custodians of the artform. In between debates and discussion groups, there will be concerts and showcases at Trefpunt, Club Telex, Missy Sippy, Bar Lume and Hot Club Gent.
